5 Point Swiss.

A player needs to play at least four matches to win the tournament.

All matches are UKBGF rated.

A player's first four matches count towards determining the evening's winner

Where possible a player will play another player on the same number of wins (e.g in round 2, first round winners play each other and first round losers play each other. In round three players on 2/2 wins play each other, players on 1/2 wins play each other and players on 0/0 wins play each other.

Emphasis should be to avoid players having long waits between matches - some matches (particularly later in the evening or with players who have been slow to finish earlier rounds or inexperienced players may be reduced to 3 point length).

Cubeless Tric-Trac-Tourney

All play all - just one game against every other player. There is no cube in play. 1 point is awarded for a sigle win, two points for a gammon and half a point for a loss. A player losing a backgammon loses half a point.
