For the second week running Debora Hill is narrowly pipped into second place at our club night on 22nd January. Yet another 100% showing for our winner Eric Westbrook.

Eric Westbrook was in his usual form winning our last club night of the year on 18th December. The following day Eric played Paul Plumptre in a 19 point match in the final of our swiss format Club Championship with Paul coming out on top. It has been a succesful year for Paul - his achievements include winning the Midlands League, UK Open Consolation winner and Robin Hood Open runner up. We had a turnout of seven for our club night on Thursday 27th November. Eric Westbrook suggested a format of a mixture of rated seven point matches and a "rolling" chouette of those players waiting for a match.
