Phil's Turn!

We had another good night of backgammon at our new Copsewood home on Thursday 25th January, We were joined by Chris Trickey for his first appearance and Cyrus Karim returning for the scond time.

It was a good night for myself (Phil) winning with 5/5 wins in an attempted 6 player all play all tournament. This rounded off my most succesful week in backgammon having won in the UKBGF Tour Winners Invitaional (Intermediate) tournament last weekend and the weekly Worcester Online tournament on Wednesday. I couldn't continue this form on Saturday at East Kent BG Club's winter tournament in Canterbury - but as all backgammon players know - you can't win them all!

All players managed at least three five point matches on Thursday before we stepped down to 3 point matches for the last three rounds. We didn't manage to play three matches (none of which would have impacted the overall result).
