Club Nights & Club Competitions

Phil & Eric

Our latest club night (Thursday 20th November 2025) ended in a tie between myself (Phil Tutchings) and club stalwart Eric Westbrook. We saw a newcomer, Lynn, join us - continuing the recent trend of new players coming along.

Over the year our players have competed in the Coventry Backgammon League, Club Championship and some one day tournaments hosted by the club. Going into the last few weeks of the year the league title is still up for grabs with leader Mark Ellison the favourite. . Our two highest ranked players Eric Westbrook and Paul Plumptre will play out the final of our Swiss format based Championship.

Plans for 2026 include replacing our league with a knock out cup competition and a new club championship based on club night outcomes.
