Eric in form

We held our first club night at our new Copsewood home on Thursday 11th January with a turnout of seven players. We attempted to play an all play all five point tournament. All matches were concluded except for three. We had a clear winner without the need to play those matches.

Eric Westbrook is one of our longest standing (and highly valued) members joining shortly after the club was formed in 2005. His achievements include reaching the final of the 2022 UKBGF UK Open tournament as "last man standing".

Eric was in fine form on Thursday. He won all of his five matches decisively (winning three of them 5-0 and the other two 5-1). Eric was one of our most consistent players in 2023 and looks to continue his level of performance into 2024.
