We had a turnout of eleven for our meet up on Thursday 4th December and opted for a 3pt all play all tournament. We didn't manage to fit all matches in before the end. One of the last matches was between Eric Westbrook and David Filer. Both had a 100% record on the evening so this was deemed the decider with Eric running out the 3-1 winner to retain the weekly trophy yet again.

Eric is one of our most consistent players and is the second highest ranked of our regulars.

It was a pleasure to welcome another newcomer - Malc Davies from Hinckley who has had experience playing with family members and in the past from playing sitting outside cafes and bars with a board set up when he lived in Spain. Strangers would join him for a game - all very civilised!
